- Translation engine: side-by-side translation of a full page or a single passage — segment pre-processing, viewport-first queue scheduling and request batching, two-tier local / cloud caching, several display styles, with dedicated handling for X, Reddit, GitHub and Google Search
- Reading: save any page for offline reading; detect article content and enter an immersive reader; ad and privacy blocking, plus a built-in Hacker News feed
- AI Chat (macOS): ask about the current page, selected text, images or PDFs without leaving the browser, with dedicated support for editors such as Google Docs, Notion and Gmail
AI Exploration
- Mapify AI Search: chose the retrieval backend for Mapify, an AI product that turns content into mind maps — built a search app with switchable providers to judge Exa, Serper, Jina and Tavily on real questions, and separately forked promptfoo for batch evaluation with Perplexity answers as a reference
- Deep Monkey: a Chrome extension that turns a plain-language request into a reusable script for one site — pricing overseas shopping pages in the local currency, showing IMDB ratings on Netflix. An agent loop lets the model run JS and correct itself from what comes back; users supply their own API key, which never enters the conversation or the script
